IMCA Safety Flash

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) issued safety flash 22/15 in December relating to significant incidents reported by IMCA member companies.

Safety flash 22/15 includes details about corrosion related failure of bolts used to secure lifeboat winches; catastrophic failure of a pipework clamp connector; a reminder about confined space entry requirements; the sentencing of a hydraulic company after an employee lost an eye; and contained hydraulic oil spillages from cranes.
