In March 2026 IMCA launched a brand-new initiative, the IMCA Next Generation Network, a global initiative aimed at supporting early career professionals. Benefits will include mentorship, networking, guidance on career development, and training opportunities, in line with feedback from members.

Updates to Guidance Documents
Three new Diving Division guidance and information documents are now available to download from IMCA’s Technical Library.

Updates to the Catalogue of National Diving Regulations (IMCA D 086)
First published by IMCA in March 2025, this document aims to assist IMCA Members in identifying their legislative duties related to offshore energy diving projects in various countries of the world. The document lists national regulations, codes of practice and guidelines relevant to offshore diving activities in the listed countries.

This document sets out the recommended practice for assessing the competency of experienced divers and life support technicians (LSTs) who lack IMCA-recognised in-water diving qualifications but have substantial offshore experience.
