French Certifications Accepted for Crossovers and Further Training
French certifications are once again being accepted by ADAS for crossovers and for entry onto further training at ADAS schools.
Since the closure of INPP in 2024, the French government has been working to create an independent entity which records certifications issued by French based training establishments. This entity and corresponding database has now been put in place, meaning that ADAS is again able to gain verification about certifications issued in France. This allows ADAS to resume acceptance of certifications issued by French training establishments for both the crossover pathway and entry into further training with ADAS schools.
Crossovers
French certifications issued prior to 14/06/2024 are now recognised for crossover to ADAS. Crossover applications are submitted through the ADAS website here: https://adas.org.au/crossovers-application/
Further training
French certifications issued after 14/06/2024 are not recognised for crossover to ADAS, but can be used for entry onto further training at ADAS schools. Contact the school you plan to undertake training with to discuss your options. They will require a copy of your certifications.
