New ADAS Schools

ADAS is excited to share news of a new Accredited Training Establishment for Diver Medical Technician training in Western Australia, and the recent establishment of training facilities in Tasmania and Singapore.

Diver Medical Technician School
Medical Training Solutions (MTS) based in Perth, Western Australia have become the newest ADAS school and are offering both full and refresher Diver Medical Technician (DMT) courses.  MTS gained ADAS accreditation in November 2017 and have recently run their first DMT refresher course in December.

Training in Tasmania
After the recent closure of The Underwater Centre Tasmania, ADAS is very pleased to announce that an application has been received, and is in the final stages of validation, for the re-establishment of a diver training facility at Beauty Point and Lake Cethana in Tasmania.  The Commercial Dive Academy hopes to open its doors in 2018 and will offer both diver and supervisor training.  More information will be posted on the ADAS website as the application progresses.

Diver Training in Singapore
ADAS is also pleased to announce that both the Underwater Training Centre – South Australia and the Commercial Dive Academy, in partnership with local establishments, will be offering training and assessment options in Singapore in the very near future.

The establishment of these training options in Singapore, in conjunction with the already existing option in Terengganu Malaysia (International Diving Academy), mean that ADAS certification will become increasingly available in the Asia area to both existing and future divers and supervisors.
