Maritime Union of Australia Meeting

The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) is holding a meeting with members of the Victorian commercial diving industry in December in order to discuss future negotiations in the industry. 

The meeting will be held at the MUA offices in West Melbourne on Tuesday the 7^th of December at 1730.

Jason Farrow, a facilitator of the meeting says, “Aarin Moon, David Ball and other MUA officials will be present to discuss bringing the Victorian divers all under one banner and moving our diving industry in the right direction for better pay and conditions.

Over the past 10 years we are yet to see a significant pay rise in our industry and our industry has gone silent over these years, with the demand for divers currently in Victoria, now is the time for change and to unite together to negotiate an EBA with the diving companies in Victoria and to move our dive industry inline with an already booming construction industry here in Victoria.”
