In ADAS news, we are excited to release the updated Revision Modules in ADAS Online, which are publicly available for anyone who wants to brush up their skills to enter the diving industry or further their career.
ADAS Nitrox Program
Work continues on the ADAS Nitrox program with courses expected to be available in early 2020.
The ADAS Nitrox program which was first introduced in the May 2019 ADAS newsletter continues to be developed. Recent industry consultation aided the development of the program with changes to some assessment processes being identified. ADAS expects to have the program development completed, and the training course available to industry, in early 2020. The new training and assessment procedures will eventually negate the need for the use of recreational Nitrox training and make occupationally based training which is consistent with the requirements of the Australian Standards 2815 series, available to participants of diver training programs.
